Perla

Perla was built as Southward for Norwegian Cruise Line at Canteri Navali del Tirreno e Riuniti. (Now part of Fincantieri)
Due to financial problems of the yard her sister was not accepted by NCL and entered service as Spirit of London.
In 2004 she became Perla of Louis Cruises after bearing the name Seawing (for Airtours/Sun Cruises) and a charter to Royal Olympic Cruises. For photos, postcards and more information on the histroy of this vessel go to Fakta om Fartyg or Simplon Postcards.
The ship was scrapped in 2013 bearing the name Venus - see photo at MaritimeMatters.
